HOW THE CORONAVIRUS HAS AFFECTED MY NATION

Coronaviruses, as we come to know, is a large family of viruses which may cause illness in animals or humans. This virus has taken a lot of lives and has caused many to be scared all over the world.

We hear and read of various bans put in place all over the world to prevent the spread of Covid 19 (Coronavirus) which bans has also come to affect the sports activities worldwide. Nigeria is a country known to love football (Soccer) and with all matches been postponed makes them feel a great loss of excitement and fun.

Although my beloved nation is Covid 19 free,  most people have come to find ways to make money from the masses.  Things at which we could use to prevent ourselves from this deadly virus has increased in price drastically.

Due to fear of this virus, local farmers refuse to farm causing short of local supplies unavailable hereby making foodstuff to increase in price. This makes me ask myself, "what will be our state in three months time?"

THE CAKE WHISPERER

In the cake baking world here is a young talented woman who has given her all, passion into baking. And when she thought she was not ready for the world, the world was already ready for her. She is no other person but Hephzibah Igbinosa, the brain behind Cake Whisperer. When she was asked how come about cake whisperer, in her own words, she said " Cake Whisperer actually started as a joke. I knew how to bake but I wasn't ready to start baking for people.

So, I just post on my status on social media. And one day a friend of mine texted me that he wanted a cake for his daughter's birthday. I told him the price and all, in my mind, I doubted If he will ever want to buy from me when there are many professionals out there to get from and he won't buy.  Like that, I received a transferred cash alert and I was so scared, I wasn't ready for the outside world yet. The cake turned out to be a success and I was truly happy and I felt this completeness in me. Then I realized that I didn't have to be ready for the outside world, the outside world was already ready for me".

Miss Igbinosa got her baking inspiration from her older sister who was so interested in baking, who will invite a specialist to the home to teach her but never got the privilege to bake for anyone but herself and the household. She measures her success from the number of people who she has interacted with during her journey, prestigious customers, seminal attended,  new recipes acquired and mostly the impact she has given out.

When she was asked the growth of Cake Whisperer in the next 5 years she said " I see my brand being international by then. I'd have employed a lot of people and trained millions. I'll have my brand in every state in Nigeria and internationally too".  She knows as she continues to give the public Inspiration, Joy and Satisfaction, cake whisperer will go a greater hight.

BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE WITHOUT A DEGREE

Having a degree is like carrying a
bow and arrow to a gun and bomb battle

Is it really possible to be rich and not be a degree holder?  The answer to the question is Yes! One can be a millionaire and billionaire and be a dropout in the university or high school. Various people today who are millionaires never became what they are from having a degree.
Education isn’t the yardstick for success, but hard work and determination is. How does it sound that some of the world’s influential men and women today never saw the four walls of a school?

To be successful one needs to be creative in life. To know that which is your skill and how you can impose the skill or talent to work. All the most prosperous people in life you know today became what they are because they were inventive and put their skills/ capability to work.

Let's take the life of Aliko Dangote for instance, Dangote who is Africa richest man was a school drop out who was productive full with the determination of becoming successful in life and now, he is worth $16.1 billion. In the life of Mark Zuckerberg who is the youngest billionaire in history, dropped out of Harvard to promote his social media network. Now today he is worth $4 billion. Many others like; Steve jobs, Ralph Lauren, Henry Ford, Walt Disney and the rest of them were school dropouts but they had a dream, worked on it and never gave up.

So many people from my geographical area use the phrase "School na scam". Is that really true? School can be a scam only when you believe that you can be rich with the degree you obtain from school. If the individual that is imparting knowledge to you is not rich, how can you be rich? How can one be taught how to be a servant and become a master? Take Accounting, for example, an Accountant is taught to be money counter and not money maker, how then can an accountant become a millionaire? https://youtu.be/tIbaLmO2YZE

Please never get me wrong, to go to school is not a bad act but you can never be rich to the extent of your dreams. If your dream is to be a doctor or a judge or an engineer you can go to school. But if your dream in life is to make money and be known in the world, then the school is not for you.

The world largest package delivery company was founded by two young boys with a bicycle and $100 borrowed from a friend. If they can do it and make it you can also.

Creativity, capital, determination, strong will qualify you for the journey to be a millionaire.

School degree is worthless if you want to be a millionaire
